Frequently asked questions
What licence do I need?+
A full motorcycle licence valid for the category. The big BMW GS bikes need an A licence. Riders with A2 can rent smaller models, e.g. the F 800 GS 35 kW. Bring your physical licence to pick-up.
How does the deposit work?+
The refundable deposit is held as a card pre-authorization at pick-up and released once you return the bike undamaged. Nothing is charged now — it's only held.
What insurance is included?+
All rentals include comprehensive insurance (CDW) with a reduced excess of €1,200. The excess is the maximum you'd pay for damage and it's covered by the deposit. A lower excess can be arranged.
Can I drop the bike at a different depot (one-way)?+
Spain and Africa are separate depots, so one-way between continents isn't possible. One-way within a region can sometimes be arranged — drop us a message and we'll sort it out!
Can I rent gear too?+
In our rental we only provide helmets — other gear is up to you.
What's the minimum rental length?+
Rentals start from 3 days. For longer trips we offer better daily rates.
What's the cancellation policy?+
Nothing is charged until you confirm the booking. The exact cancellation terms are sent together with your booking confirmation.
When and where do I pick up the bike?+
At your chosen depot during opening hours or by individual arrangement. We'll confirm the exact time with your booking — bring your licence and the card used for the deposit.
