Route 62 & the Little Karoo
The longest wine route in the world, strung between mountain passes — wide horizons, empty tar and small-town stops.
Meiringspoort & Tradouw Pass
Rock walls, river crossings and sweeping curves through some of the finest engineered passes in South Africa.
Rest day in Oudtshoorn
A real day off the bike in the heart of the Karoo — Cango Caves, ostrich country, or simply nothing at all.

Essen gehört zu jeder Tour dazu. Wir wählen Restaurants und Stopps mit authentischer regionaler Küche, guten Zutaten und besonderem Ambiente — vom Mittagshalt mit Aussicht bis zum entspannten Abendessen.
Das ist mehr als eine Motorradtour. Es ist ein komplettes Reiseerlebnis — auf und neben dem Motorrad.

Sicherheit und Komfort haben auf jeder FLYTORIDE-Tour oberste Priorität. Jede Gruppe wird von einem Begleitfahrzeug unterstützt, das Gepäck, Ersatzausrüstung und vor allem ein einsatzbereites Ersatzmotorrad mitführt. Deine Reise geht weiter — egal was passiert.
Unsere Guides sind nicht nur erfahrene Fahrer, sondern auch in Erster Hilfe ausgebildet und können in jeder Situation schnell reagieren. Auf ausgewählten Touren ist zusätzlich ein professioneller Sanitäter Teil des Teams.
Mit FLYTORIDE fährst du mit gutem Gefühl — du weißt, dass du auf der ganzen Strecke Rückendeckung hast.

What licence do I need?+
A full motorcycle licence valid for the bike's category. Bring your physical licence and an International Driving Permit; we confirm requirements with your booking.
Which bike will I ride?+
The BMW GS adventure fleet — the R 1300 GS as standard. Tell us your height and preference and we'll match you.
What should I pack?+
Your own riding gear (helmet, jacket, gloves, boots), layers for cool Karoo mornings and warm afternoons, and casual evening clothes. A full packing list is sent before departure.
Single or shared room?+
Prices are per rider sharing a twin/double. Travelling solo or want your own room? Add the single supplement.
What fitness or experience level is needed?+
Easy — the whole route is good tar, suitable for confident road riders, two-up riding and first-time visitors to South Africa. No off-road skills required.
What's the weather and best season?+
The Cape and Karoo ride well much of the year. We'll advise on the season for your dates — and whale season on the coast runs roughly June–November.
