What is a Self-Guided Tour?
A Self-Guided Tour gives you a fully prepared route — GPX files, day-by-day itinerary, accommodation options, and practical information — without a guide or a group. You ride independently, at your own pace, with the support level you choose.
What's the difference between Lite and Pro?
Lite gives you the route, the knowledge and the recommendations. You handle the bookings and logistics yourself. Pro adds hotel booking by FLYTORIDE, a dedicated WhatsApp support line, a navigation device and a GPS tracker — everything prepared so you can focus entirely on the ride.
Can I add support or extras to a Lite booking?
Yes. Lite is modular by design. You can add WhatsApp support, hotel booking, a navigation device, a GPS tracker or a pre-departure route briefing call. Each is available as a separate add-on.
Do I need my own motorcycle?
No. BMW GS rental is available as an add-on on both Lite and Pro, per rider. If you have your own bike, you’re welcome to bring it — there’s no requirement to rent.
Can I book as a couple or small group?
Yes. Both packages support group bookings. Each additional rider pays a per-person supplement and receives their own portal access with the full itinerary and daily route information. Pro is available for groups of up to 4 riders.
What is the client portal?
The client portal is your personal tour hub. After booking, you’ll find your complete itinerary there — day by day, with routes, GPX files, hotel details, highlighted stops, and practical tips. It’s designed to work well on mobile, so everything you need is accessible on the road.
How does support work on Pro?
Pro bookings include direct WhatsApp access to the FLYTORIDE team throughout your tour. Before departure, we’ll schedule a check-in call to walk through the route and answer any questions. During the ride, we’re reachable for anything that comes up.
Which regions are available?
FLYTORIDE Self-Guided Tours are available across Southern Africa (including South Africa, eSwatini, Lesotho, Botswana and the Kruger region) and Europe (including the Alps and the Balkans). Available routes are listed on the tours page.
How do I book?
Select your tour and package, choose any add-ons, and submit your booking request. Pro bookings are confirmed manually — we’ll be in touch within [X] business days to finalise details and arrange hotels. Lite bookings are [confirmed automatically / also confirmed manually — adjust as needed].
